It's never too late, and you're never too old!

This group is for people aged 50+ (I'm 61, as a point of reference!) who have always wanted to write but never got around to it.  No matter what age you are, it's never too late!

You may be studying (not necessarily a degree, but on Coursera or Udemy for example), or you may just be throwing yourself into writing, and learning as you go.  You may have not started writing yet, or you may be putting the finishing touches to your first story. Wherever you are in your writing journey, you are welcome here.

It's a place where you can share your work, ask for advice on your writing or on courses, websites, writing software, publishing, or just chat.  Also happy if we discuss books that we've read or are reading - reading other author's work is all part of the learning process.

Please be kind when people share work: we are all in a different place when it comes to learning the craft of writing.  And some of us will be aiming to get a top-selling novel, others will be writing for their own satisfaction, to self-publish, or just for family and friends.

I'd love this to become a vibrant community of writers who support each other throughout our “better late than never”  journeys!
